Event Description: Meet Mac in Person
Meet Mac in Person is an opportunity for community members to engage directly with James “Mac” McLaughlin about the future of public safety in Deschutes County.
This event is grounded in the belief that strong leadership begins with listening. Public trust is earned through transparency, accountability, and consistent professional standards, not politics.
The evening will focus on real conversations about leadership inside the Sheriff’s Office, strengthening morale, supporting deputies and corrections staff, and building meaningful partnerships throughout Bend, Redmond, Sisters, and rural Deschutes County.
